After successfully running a pop up restaurant at Nelson and Colne College last year, a team of our chefs will be back at their Barrowford site this March.
Our executive chef Antony Shirley and some of our other chefs will work alongside students from the College’s School of Culinary Arts at their Farringtons restaurant to develop a special menu for customers.
The event will give the College’s talented students the opportunity to prepare and serve a brand new menu whilst learning new skills by working in partnership with our experienced chefs.
“I love the challenge of a new project and going into the unknown,” said Seafood Pub Company executive chef Antony Shirley. “Last year, the students really rose to the challenge and everyone got stuck in so we are looking forward to going back and doing it again in March.
“The pop up restaurant will provide them with a real taste of the day to day running of a quality establishment. It will also hopefully provide us with the opportunity to discover some students with star potential who could become our next talented chefs.”
