We’ve been keeping some very exciting news under our chefs’ hats for a few weeks, but today we can reveal that a member of the SPC family has been recognised in two leading industry accolades.
The Assheton Arms has been named County Dining Pub of the Year in the Good Pub Guide 2015 and will also feature in The Good Food Guide 2015.
Seafood Pub Company managing director, Joycelyn Neve, said: “We think The Assheton is a fantastic pub but to know that leading figures in the hospitality sector and customers think the same is amazing news. It’s all down to the hard work of the team and there’s a real sense of shared pride in what we have achieved.”
Not wishing to miss out on the action, The Oyster and Otter is on the badge trail too and has been shortlisted in the Lancashire and Cheshire Life awards as Restaurant of the Year. Winners for this award will be announced in October.
