September marks one year of the Seafood Pub Company taking the helm at the Farmers Arms in Great Eccleston, so not being one to miss out on an excuse for a celebration, we held a birthday party for regulars and special guests.

The birthday party, sponsored by the Cross Bay Brewery, also raised vital funds for the RNLI.  It costs around £385,000 a day to run the RNLI, all of which is generously donated by the public.

“All our Seafood Pub Company sites are community pubs as well as destination restaurants so they all support local causes wherever possible. The RNLI does a fantastic job providing 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue services around the UK, including on the Fylde coast. We were delighted to be able to make a small contribution to the huge sum which is needed to run the RNLI on a daily basis.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended our birthday celebration and look forward to welcoming many more people to the Farmers Arms as it begins its second year as a Seafood Pub Company venue.”
