Lord and Lady Clitheroe hosted a garden party at Downham Hall to officially launch this year’s Clitheroe Food Festival. Some 150 guests enjoyed a BBQ and seafood dishes prepared by the Seafood Pub Company, and we also sponsored the marquee in the grounds of the hall.
We will be one of over 100 Lancashire-based food producers exhibiting at the town centre festival this Saturday. Over 18,500 visitors attended the free event in 2013, sampling the finest food and drink produced in the Ribble Valley and Lancashire and the festival is expected to be even bigger and better this year.
Joycelyn Neve, managing director of the Seafood Pub Company, said: “Lancashire is blessed with so many high quality food producers and the Clitheroe Food Festival is a fantastic way of making people aware of these local businesses and their exciting products. We are really looking forward to being at the festival again, showcasing some of our dishes and meeting visitors at the event.
Come and visit our stand to watch our executive chef Antony Shirley do his stuff and see him take part in the Mystery Box Challenge!” Hopefully we’ll see you in Clitheroe on Saturday 9th August!
