Assheton Arms’ brand new accommodation in Downham is now open.

Located in two cottages and the former post office in the Ribble Valley conservation village, 12 en-suite bedrooms with stunning views of Pendle Hill are available to book now. The launch of accommodation at the award winning Assheton Arms follows its interior refurbishment earlier this year.

“We are really excited about our new accommodation offer in Downham,” said David Thorneycroft, the Assheton Arms’ General Manager. “It is a truly unique, unspoilt location, used as the backdrop for a wide range of TV and film productions and we have no doubt that it will be a popular location with tourists from across the country.
“The bedrooms have been completed to a really high standard and I cannot think of a view I would rather wake up to than the one we are able to offer guests of the Ribble Valley side of Pendle Hill.”

“It is fantastic that the Assheton Arms is now offering guests the opportunity to extend their stay in the area,” said Tom Pridmore, Ribble Valley Tourism and Events Officer. “With so much to do in the local area, and exciting events such as the Tour of Britain cycle ride passing right through the village, it is the perfect location for visitors to base themselves to explore the Ribble Valley and all of our hidden gems.”
