Project Description

With its hunt-lodge style interior, the popular country pub sits at the foot of the famous Pendle Hill, the famous landmark notorious for the witch trials of 1612. Steeped in history, the area is also home to a bronze-age burial site which was the inspiration behind the foundation of the Quaker religion. Barley Mow has six premium en-suite guest bedrooms, serving hearty pub classics and our signature seafood specials, and perfect for those looking to enjoy a rustic rural retreat.

Pub classics, creative world food and sensational seafood specials. Delivering exceptional quality food in outstanding locations is at the heart of what we do.

Seafood is an important part of our menus, with daily changing specials showcasing the catch of the day, straight from legendary fish monger Chris Neve. And it doesn’t stop there, each of our menus consists of a wide range of dishes using locally sourced meat, poultry and game.

If you’re looking to hold a function, event or celebration with us, then choose from the main menus, or work alongside our chefs to create a bespoke menu, tailored to your exact needs.

We cater for business events, corporate hospitality, product launches, meetings, seminars, lunches, dinners and networking events. Or family celebrations, including christenings, birthday parties and anniversaries. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, however, we can often accommodate at very short notice, for funerals and last minute needs.
