Local children were full of festive cheer as they enjoyed supper with Santa in our magical grotto at the Barley Mow.
The grotto is ideal for families, friends, couples and children to enjoy throughout December.
Jemma McAnespie, marketing manager of the Seafood Pub Company said: “The grotto is a wonderful addition to our offering at the Barley Mow throughout Christmas and New Year.
“Supper with Santa takes places on three different dates and is a fantastic chance for children to meet Santa in gorgeous surroundings, whilst also enjoying supper and a special present.”
The first supper with Santa took place on the 8th December while the two other dates in the calendar are the 15th and 22nd; from 5pm. Children are able to enjoy a children’s main meal from the menu, a refillable cordial, a present from Santa and some extra special reindeer food.
The grotto is the perfect festive destination for both children and adults. Rugs and throws are provided, alongside outdoor heating, making it cosy and comfortable and the ideal place to unwind and enjoy comforting winter dishes or a mulled wine.
Matt Ward, general manager at the Barley Mow said: “The grotto has been full since opening and we’ve had some really positive feedback.
“Christmas at the Barley Mow is in full swing and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of new and old customers through our doors.”
